American MTV became about other things but the European, the Portuguese and the Brazilian (hv them all) are essentially still all about music. As an example ther's only TRL and Dismissed that are not about music on the European.

Yeah, yeah.. MTV sucks in America. They created "MTV2," which has music, but guess what? It's premium channel. Stupid money sucking jerks.. ::grumbles::

It wasn't an award show, it was a countdown of the "15 Best Video Games (and franchises apparently) Ever". It sucked donkey, (odd for a show counting down the "best video games ever" to constrict themselves to the past 4 years of console games) but it was still a million times better than the VGAs. Hey, at least Legend of Zelda got number one.

here in Canada Much Music is slowly turning into the MTV of Canada

Much Music used to be "okay" back a few years ago but its gotten horrible over the past 3-4 years.. stupid "wannabe" and maketheband" shows.. :x

We get Much Music here too, and yeah, they have less music than they used to, but it's nowhere near as bad as America's MTV. I think MTV plays maybe 5 music videos a day, at most, the rest are reality shows, which I can't understand why ANYONE watches, especially that RealWorld crap. Worst. Series. Ever.
