Well I got HL2 like 3 days ago. I am at prime right now never played it before does have some more challenging areas from the last one.
Still trying to figure out how to kill this bug queen at the prision I unload everything at her and nothing kills her ass. I have shot everything from the pulse rifle to the rocket launcher I also threw barrels at her nothing kills this Biotch.

You don't even need to kill her. Just run fast to the doors with a lot of things pilled up.

Thanks I figured it out. I used the shotgun and stayed jumping between the center island where the sinks were. The other one after in the cafeteria was easy to kill. I used the secondary fire on the pulse cannon. The only issue I have now is being over run by the combine guys at the prison on the cell block. It's the second one when you setup the auto cannons. I tried running around killing them but they eventually get you all the time.

lol, I remember when I was fighting one in the prison, I realised that when he ran into the pillars they would break. So I was like "Ok, I have to get all the pillars destroyed and the room will collapse or some other trigger will happen."
Turns out this took longer than I excpected... When I realised nothing happened.. I saw that pile of junk and got through it. *Smacks forehead*

I got through it today. I just kept at it changed my stratagy a little. I set two cannons side by side between the pillars with a good range of fire to engauge them. As they came through both hallways both cannons worked simulatinous and I took the rest out that tryed to go around the pillars with my shotgun.. Finally there were no more and Alyx finally showed. Anyways got through the rest of the crap got beamed back to the city.
Anyways made it further now I am going from building to building with my team fighting hive forces ,zombines and head crabs and stuff.

Well all done the game. I thought the last part of the game was pretty easy IMHO.
Over all pretty cool game I enjoyed it the whole week I had it. I think I bought it Tuesday or Wednesday last week. Well at least my G/F will stop complaining I am up till 2 am playing it.
I guess onto buying Doom 3 and trying to beat that.

No dont go to the dark side! Gordon Stop him!!!!!!!! Jk man doom 3 was pretty good. Not as good as half life in my oppinion but fine. Cant wait to use the gravity gun........I mean manipulator in the expansion!

doom3 was good for the first few levels but then it jsut got a teeny weeny bit predictable and i was like hmm enter room lights go off imp there, imp there
