Ok, I think most people have forgotten we have a wiki by now. I have been meaning to do some more work on it (honest) and I'm finally getting back to it. Now, I'm cleaning up the Antlion page (I've decided to focus on one section at a time and the first is having a complete collection of pages on antlions) and due to the fact that it's past 2 in the morning I think I'll not be making any further contributions tonight.

I know most forumites lack the interest/patience/intelligence to write high-quatlity articles (Hell, I keep looking over the stuff I've written and thinking "this is crap" or "this is a very incoherent paragraph" and rewritting it all. What I'm asking for is screenshots. I want original, high quality screenshots for the articles. I want hi-res screenshots taken at full settings for articles, and my laptop doesn't have a graphics card so I won't be taking them and I don't just want to pull them off Google or any other website. So who wants to show off how powerful their machines are while helping out the site?

Screenshots with no weapons and HUD visible are preferable. To remove these enter these commands into the console (Options, Keyboard, Advanced, Enable developer console)

Also for the love of god don't have fakefactory or any other custom skins/models installed.

Seeing as I'm focusing on antlions I'm looking for the following:

• Antlions
• Antlion Workers (and their acid spray)
• Antlion Grubs
• Antlion Guard
• Antlion Guardian
• Thumpers
• Bugbait
• Inside the antlion colony in EP2
• The inner chamber with the larvae from EP2
• The extract
• The chambers full of grubs coated in webbing from the scene where the Guardian is chasing you
• The grubs' healing pellet
• The grim pinatas
• Walkways made of webbing
• Webbing sealing off a tunnel
• Anything else relevant I've forgotten

Make sure they're in JPG format and upload them to an image hosting website or directly to the wiki.

There was supposed to be a link to the file uploading page for the wiki in the above sentence but I just discovered file uploading to the wiki has been disabled for the time being. God I think this website itself just resists all projects from being completed.

Either way I'm sure it's not a permenant thing and go ahead with the screenshots anyway, pretty please.

Photobucket lets you upload any resolution so long as the file size is <1mb

Plus it keeps them forever and you can easily find any pic you upload to it because it keeps them all in an album. Imageshack can suck it.

I definitely took those on 1920x1200, it even says it the Windows description, but Photosucket resizes them to 1024x768. When I get home later I'll upload them directly the site, if it is possible.

Oh look, I can upload pictures without having my internet browser open, and the direct link to my image is automatically put into my clipboard for pasting, as well as be opened in a new tab for me if I so choose to enable. I can also easily upload any image on my pc because the app puts itself in my right click menu. (right click, upload to tinypic, or upload to imageshack) I can also tell the program to upload image data in my clipboard (like a print screen) or use the app to take screen captures of part of my screen by simply drawing a rectangle on the area I want.

I don't know what you did to your game, but that cannot be the game completely maxed out. I run vanilla maxed out and it looks infinitely better than that.

I didn't do anything to it. I just installed the game, cranked up all the settings, and that's it.

It's on my new rig too, so there's nothing visually weakened. My catalyst settings are all up on max.

catalyst settings dont have any effect in HL2, IIRC. It makes all the graphics shite no matter what the in game settings are. Set Catalyst to application preference, then crank up the in game settings, and there will be a difference.
