You Suck at Photoshop #4

"Clean off the dirty shame and all the unfulfilled dreams"

Haha those are hilarious

I stumbled upon the first one a few days ago, I think, but thought it's a regular tutorial and just closed it then.

Haha, Q&A from the auction:

Q: How long will it take for the Infinite Sorrow to take effect?
A: On about the third day of the honeymoon when she decides to talk a walk on the beach by herself and comes back smelling like diving instructor.

oh god, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Awesome.

I desire this object. I desire its sadness.

Looks like a bunch of clone accounts are padding the auction though, otherwise I'd seriously consider buying it.

Also, paths are the devil. That's how I ink my sketches, but its tedious. Fiddling with line weight and fill is just...ugh. Now that I think about it, the fact that he used paths to remove the background from the picture of the ring makes it even more sorrowful.

To ink? Or to remove things? I use the regular lasso for the latter. Magnetic lasso has a tendency to suddenly go somewhere you don't want it to.

I just use the eraser. What took him the whole video, I could have had done in half the time with the eraser.

I use that lasso thing but when i click on somewhere it sort of like spreads.

That was hilarious. That guy is great.

The previous one... awesomeness. I figure if you want to find the others, just go to youtube. I haven't looked at them yet... only the one stern posted and this one I just posted. heh.

I vary the softness of the brush depending on where im erasing. I use a tablet, so it makes it go faster, since it has pressure sensitivity.

It looks a lot better than the shitty edges you get with lasso tools.

Are you kidding me? Unless you've got an incredibly steady hand and a drawing tablet, the erase tool looks like utter crap. (edit: which apparently, you have)

The magnetic lasso, with the right settings, will usually cut out a very accurate selection.

The pen tool, though, is probably the most accurate and most adjustable. It just takes a lot of time to learn how to use it properly, and a longer time to actually use it.
