You there

$7.55 as [strike]a Librarian[/strike] someone who shelves books. :(

Patient Care Technician on the Surgical Care Unit & EMT. Along with still being a student.

Since we're talking about side jobs, I tutor kids and rip their parents off.

to also pay for stuff on the side, I'm a massive bargain shopper. if i can wait for something I will, even though tonight I bought Red Dead brand new because I'll be playing it for a month. but as of lately I haven't gotten too many games because I like to finish them up. used games, used movies, cheap music whatever i can do without breaking the law. I also car pool when possible, I buy my relatives really nice gifts and in return they help me out big time when I need it. whether it be a newer car, or help financially. and here and there i will sell games to friends just to get rid of some of my mess. but i do what i can to save money as of lately

Interesting array of occupations here.

I'm a college student of 2 years so far right now, on the fence about changing my major which would add another WONDERFUL MOTHER****ING 2 years before I can transfer to University. Once all is said and done I hope to be working a career in the medical field. The future is very murky though. Life is complicated. I wish to buy my folks a nice place someday cause they ****ing deserve it and shit. Who else is in my boat?

I'm a Web Programmer. I'm not too great at it, but I've learned a lot - especially interfacing with databases and such.

I don't make much here, but the cost of living is pretty low and I survive. Hopefully within the next 6 months I can either find a better job locally (stuck in a lease) or get a decent raise.

I'm glad it's not like it was in Northern NJ where my furnished stuido apartment was $1050 a month. I'm sharing a 2br place that's pretty massive for 475 a month plus utilities.

I am a research assistant/grad student in a big wind tunnel. I also am a shift manager at the local climbing gym. I also do some engineering consulting work for a local company. My total income is disproportionately small relative to the number of jobs I am working. I am also way behind on that last job and need to finish my projects so I can get paid.

I'm a part-time petshop clerk, full-time Music Tech student.

Naturally I plan to wedge myself somewhere in the music industry, be it studio engineering or work with live shows (Front of House engies apparently make $120k a year!) or even to play on the stages themselves - but that's more a pipe-dream I chase on the side.

University student, currently coming to the end of a year abroad.

Lab Tech at a local dairy company. The day to day stuff is dry and doesn't change much, but the pay is worth it. Not what I saw my self doing with a bio degree, but it's not too far off.

Electrical and pneumatic specialist for the Air Force. I fix things that kill people :(

Shit just hit the fan...

...ducks for cover behind the meat shields

So im getting tired of being a poorfag, so i asked my dad if i can do some work for him. He hired me to do an incredibly boring job of scanning his old pictures from the 60s. They have aged so much that the chemicals in the photos are turning red. So i need to scan about 500 individual pictures, and then photoshop them and catagorize them. As painful as this is, it would be ok if it wasnt for the slow as computer i have to work on. Errors pops up all the time, it freezes and its slow. He hasnt formated it in 5 years so i asked if i could PLEASE format and install Windows 7, but he refuses. Atleast im getting paid :/

You want to install Windows 7 on an OLD computer to SPEED IT UP? Are you insane? What makes Windows 7 fast is not that it's super lite or well programmed, it's that it makes great use of the power of available hardware... if you install it on a computer that can't handle it, it will go just as slow or slower. Old computers will run really fast with XP with everything off. Windows 2000 is a good choice too. Just thought I'd share that.

if it's slow it'll be even slower working with high res scans

Hm yeah thats right, im just in love with the W7 interface. Whats even more of a pain in the ass is that i need to take each picture out with this ****er:

blend_pincet.jpg

Then carefully insert it into a template thingy and align it, then clean it to make sure there is no dust on it. Once its scanned, i need to put it back into its pocket which is ****ing stressful as shit cuz it gets stuck in the corners.

But i sure love money. I wish i was a hot girl so i could just prostitute myself :(

You don't need to be a girl for that Rav. You just need to pick the right clients.

Environmental artist and I'm currently doing an art internship at id Software.
