Your bit of crazy news for the day

Oh noes, the shame of being forced to marry a goat.

Never mind the beastiality.

At least their still together. It's like a match made in some twisted, asinine heaven.

did anybody bother asking the goat if she wanted to be married? and what about a dowry? will the goat's father give the groom a sacrificial human?

and what if the goat is male???

and what if the man dont hav nothing else to eat???

prisioner:and why are you here?
the husnband in prision:I eat my wife

Why is it whenever I hear stories about sex and goats, most of the time it comes out of the middle east? I know it happens elsewhere, but I mainly hear it from that region of the world, and the punishments they have for it.

Well Sudan is more like Africa, but close enough I suppose.

Maybe if we screwed more goats throughout the rest of the world we'd be less stressed out about stuff.

"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up".

A whole new meaning to 'getting on my goat'.

I like it how some of the middle east is further west than Western countries. Kerazee.

Acting the Goat? hohoho!

First of all, Raziaar, geographically speaking, Egypt is in Africa. It's just so heavily populated by Muslims that it gets lumped in with the Middle East. And I don't know what the "G8 Definition" is, but everything I've seen goes by the "traditional" definition.

Also, what in the living hell does "getting on my goat" mean? o_0

I think he means "Gets my goat"

You know, like "Grinds my Gears" or whatnot.

Goat sodomy is the answer to the world's overpopulation problems.

Well, if that was an enforced solution, I think more people would opt for abstinence maybe...

There is no 'Middle-East' anymore. Middle-East is starting to mean countries that are dominantly Muslim Arab in ethnicity as oppose to a location in the world. 'Middle-East' is just a buzz word used to describe "Those terrorist countries".

What, are you kidding me? You may use it for that, but I certainly don't.

Puts new meaning on the phrase 'sheep shagger'

Lot's of people are starting to use it like that. When was the term used for anything positive? The Middle-East has become associated with terrorists and corrupt oil tycoons.

I personally dislike the term "Middle-East" intensely, because as I've said, it groups all countries in that region under the same negative connotations that the term carries with it.

But, I've sort of gone off on a tangent. This is quite a serious discussion that deserves to be reserved for a thread that's little more sensible than one about a man marrying a goat.

It's also associated with being the cradle of civilization. Incredibly rich and amazing history stretching far into the past.

Hehe, well, when you think that the term sheep shagger originated because it was thought that lonely cut off farmers used to have sex with their sheep...it kind of just reinforces it ;).

I'm not disputing the history that originated in that region, but you have to remember that in those days it wasn't called the "Middle-East", there were realms such as Persia and Arabia. The term "Middle-East" is an invention of western civilization, our civilization, and to many westerners it carries bad connotations. The 'Middle-East' is used by politicians and the media to identify a region of great instability and a possible future hazard for our nice little western society. It's been done in such a way that your average Jo's that you'd find on the street in one of our western cities wouldn't associate the term 'Middle-East' with that historical and cultural richness.

Middle-East is not a continent of its own, it's made up by countries in western Asia and northern Africa.

Poor goat :(

Did you actually read the thread or did you just decide to intervine with some comment that has no bearing on absolutely anything?

Even if it is a creation of the west, that doesn't exclude Egypt from being in the middle east :-P

I wish I could legally marry my goat, the US government doesn't acknowledge our love :(
