Let's imagine its August 28 and you're playing through Doom III for the 3rd or 4th time (and your excitement for Half Life 2 keeps growing exponentially with each passing day) - you know what to expect by now in each level and as such an in-depth listening to the sounds of the game isn't all that necessary and you decide to listen to some music while playing to enhance the terrifying experience.

What do you have in your CD player?

"Sunshine, lolly-pops, and rainbows ...".

Just kidding, I'd go with Disturbed, Tool, or . . . Manson.

Disturbed sounds like a great choice...this game screams to have "Down With The Sickness" blasting along with it.

...you've woken up the demon in me...

I just saw your sig Lazi...have you read "Song of Susannah" yet? I just started "The Wizard and Glass" - I love these books so much, I'm happy that SK is finishing this epic!

Mushroomhead and Drowning Pool playing lightly in the background.

I concur with Disturbed. Metallica's Master of Puppets would also work... Not to mention Britney Spears!

Yeah, especially The Thing That Should Not Be. Megadeth could also work.

An obvious choice would be Dimmu Borgir, after all we're talking about fighting the forces of hell here. Though we're sending them back to where they came from, so there should be gospel music at the backround!! :D
