Your class schedule?

wow, one starts at 6:30? That blows ass. (Atleast it looks kind of fun)

As for me, I don't get mine until I register in September.

I'm getting excited.

Nerd. ;(

Will the fun with robots class possibly use NXT robots? If so, maybe your school could pay me to come up and teach ya'll a thing or two. :dork:

Anyway, most freshman classes are just "meh". I would of done perfectly fine with college and my job if I had completely skipped the classes I took freshman year.. but I guess they're somewhat more useful than HS classes.

btw, "freshman immigration" is a joke. Either goof off with your friends the whole time or skip it if at all possible.

Your schedule looks ridiculously full! ....But I have to laugh at "freshman immigration." :P
I also see that you have a class with "Fun" in the title. The only "fun" class I had was "fun" lab, but I think our department just calls it that to spite us. Sick bastards.

Here's mine:

CHE 360 = Process Control
CHE 264 = Chemical Engineering Process and Projects Laboratory
CE 342 = Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineering
CE 369L = Air Pollution Engineering
AST 307 = Introductory Astronomy (my "fun" class...)
AST 103L = Astronomical Observations (lab)

I might replace the astronomy with research. I think this is the most symmetrical-looking schedule I've had so far. Also, no labs going past 10 pm? Yessssss.

Summer. Don't know my schedule yet.

Btw, my section of "Interpretation and Argument" is subtitled "Technology, Dystopia, and Frankenstein."

The description of the "fun with robots" class doesn't say what kind of robots they will be. They just say that we will be using "skills learned in 15-100 and 15-111" (which are Java courses), so I'm guessing it will be NXT with the Java firmware? I don't know. They say they will let us keep our robots at the end of the year after we use them in the annual mobot race held on campus. Carnegie Mellon has white lines drawn all over campus that robots follow in the race.

So, civil engineering?

I haven't finalized my sophomore year schedule yet but at the moment it looks like this:

Anthropology 101: General Anthropology
Italian 102: Elementary Italian 2
Linguistics 200: Phonology
Russian 270: Russian Literature of the 19th Century

F*ck, your classes all sound so awesome...

I won't get registered for my classes until my undergrad transcript goes though, and that won't happen until I finish these summer classes. However, my favorite professor is teaching a graduate course on global terrorism at some point next year (not sure if it is fall or spring) which I will definitely be taking.

The best thing about my uni is that I have to register all my classes for second semester before I even have my finals for courses in the first semester. And if I fail one course, I'd have to redo my whole timetable again and get my pick of shitty class times since all the good ones would have filled up already.

I already have my school schedule planned out for the next few years. Here's a scan of it.

I was like what's that dot? But it was a piece of dirt on my screen.

Why is your font colour in white? You know the background was white and you still set it as white. What a fool you are..

So, civil engineering?

Chemical engineering. Doing an environmental engineering technical area. I think my last few years would have been more enjoyable if I had started out straight civil/environmental... but it's too late to switch now, so I just try to cram my free time with lots of civil engr classes.
