Your CyberCafe's Machine Specs

To all who went to a CyberCafe to play Counter-Strike Source:

What was the specification of the machine you were using to play the game, and how did CS Source look like running on it?


The one I went to (CyberNet in Huddersfield) was running a room full of these: -

AthlonXP 2500+
nVidia GeForce4 ti4200
WindowsXP

The game wasn't anti-aliased and it was running at 800x600 - so the jaggies were all over. The textures were bumpmapped though, and it ran pretty smooth. The new torch effects are awesome, I can't wait to see what this will run like on my machine (DX9) :naughty:

You mean the torch effects that distorted the textures on the walls Pobz? Cybernet was cack (we even left with 54 minutes of CSS to play) and I for one won't be going back.

Saying that though, the people in there didn't help.

lol, why does it seem like all these cafes have kinda crappy systems? well, not even the systems, just the video cards. You'd think since they're there to play games, they have at least some 9600 Pro's in thier systems or something.

Highest is Athlon 64 3000 + , 1 GB Corsair XMS memory, and Radeon 9800 Pro
