-Once Upon a Time in the West: the scene where the girl says "I hope you'll come back someday" Bronson replies with "Someday" then exits the house and that really sad song in the background just hightens the emotion, really nice ending.

-The Magnificent Seven: The scene where they meet the bandits for the first time and Yul Brynner says "Solving your problems isn't our line" then Steve Mcqueen says "We deal in lead, friend."

-Gladiator: Maximus' identity reveal to Commodus. Nuff said.

-Gladiator: Maximus get's on the horse acting as General and all the men start acting like soldiers to survive with the great music in the background playing.

-Gladiator: Maximus fights Tigras of Gaul in the colloseum.

-Minority Report: Tom Cruise is in the mall and the girl tells him to do a bunch of crazy stuff that actually ends up helping them escape.

-The Crow: The whole movie.

-Troy: Achilles and Hector fight.

Saving Private Ryan - The whole D-Day landing scene, when they encounter the German SdKfz 251 halftrack and when Pvt. Jackson snipe Germans from the church.

Full Metal Jacket (my favourite movie ever btw ) - Too many scenes to include here, but here are some: When Hartman introduces himself in the beginning, when Pyle kills Hartman and himself, when the guys talk to the news reporter with ‘Surfin’ Bird’ playing in the background, when they encounter the Vietnamese sniper in the building and the whole ‘Shoot me!’ scene.

The Matrix - The whole lobby scene and when Neo, a.k.a. Mr. Anderson, gets shot in the chest by Agent Smith.

Bullitt - The classic car chasing, God I love that part of the movie.

The Thing- When Norris gets mutilated, the whole dog scene and when MacReady kills the beast at the end of the movie.

Marathon Man - The torture scene, when Hess visits the Jewish part of the city and when Hoffman gets captured.

Star Wars Episode I - The whole pod race and when Obi and Qui-Gon battles Darth Maul.

The Untouchables - The intro with the cool music, when Jim gets killed in his apartment, when Frank gets thrown out from the rooftop by Ness and the elevator scene (very sad scene imo).

Black Hawk Down: the ending part, so emotional.
The Good Girl: the whole movie was an emotion masterpiece.

The first scene of Texas Chainsaw Massacre(the original)--just the noise of a grave being exhumed then the flashes of a camera and the gradual reveal of the bones on the marker. Truly disturbing.

Last scene of Texas Chainsaw Massacre(the original)--a crazed Leatherface dancing a waltz of despair with his one true love, his chainsaw. Extremely disturbing then it just cuts abruptly to black. So so effective. The whole movie really unnerves the viewer from beginning to end.

Indeed. This was one of the most powerful and thought-provoking books I have ever read. The movie was pretty good, but the copy I watched was really poor quality. I'd like to see it restored for DVD someday soon, esp. given the state of the world today....

Also, the final scene from Carpenter's The Thing--an incredibly cool way to end it.

-When they are first sent to the trenches. The younger brother doesn't know what's going on, and the older brother watches out for him.
-The scene involving a rock and the generals head.
-The end of the movie... when he's an old man.... oh man.

12 Monkeys:
-When he is sent back to World War 1.
-The ending scene when she is frantically searching for his younger self in the crowd.

Boondock Saints:
-When Roc is on the phone and hangs up. "Catch you on the flip side." He just stepped into a "Zone." His zone. And the following scene is just godlike to me. When he walks up to the guys sitting down, he pulls his coat out, and shoots one of them through it. And then goes over to the bartender. "FUNNY! FUNNY! FUNNY!"

Leon: The Professional:
-Any scene involving Leon's plant, or Leon drinking milk.
-When they pronounce their love to eachother. It's kind of sick, but they're both ****ed up people. So it somehow makes me feel happy for them.
-Just how good Leon is at what he does...

Queen of the Damned:
-The whole rock concert scene.

Gladiator:
-His death.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels:
-The shootout where just about everyone is killed.
-"That was the Bren gun!" - I laughed for weeks at that.
-When Soap is attempting to dump the shotguns while everyone else if frantically trying to cell him.

El Mariachi:
-The chase scene in which the Mariachi guns down a few of his chasers.
