For the uninitiated: TED.com is a website featuring experts in all kinds of fields holding The Talk of Their Life in under 20 minutes. The subjects range from ant colonies to the LHC and from Long Tail to commercial space travel. My personal fav is Hans Rosling debunking some myths about popular statistics. He comments on stats like a sports commentator and offers some fresh views about third world cliches. Also worth watching is Burt Rutan's talk on space travel, if only to see how strict TED.com's anti-politics policy is. It's (mostly) pure science.

I've always found Jill Bolte Taylor's video to be extremely interesting. It's about her stroke.

Either that or the one about crows and their cleverness.
EDIT: And another one, by Clifford Stoll purely for his anecdotes and weirdness.
 
That video was really interesting :D

That guy just has a scientific look about him...
