So I was skimming over Eurogamers top 50 games of 2008 and found that I had played a grand total of 4 of them. As I looked over my gaming year I realised that the I could probably count the number of games I played on two hands (maybe three) and the games I actually finished on one.
There are a few reasons for this (being an exclusive PC gamer doesn't help) but the biggest is that my gaming time is just so concentrated into a few titles that I don't have time to try out other games. So despite my large collection of "will finish", "have bought" and "might buys" most of my gaming time really only goes into a few titles which pushes everything else to the wayside.
Am I the only one like this, a "dense" gamer? Obviously I really enjoy the games I sink most of my gaming time into but around this time of year when people are coming out with their top 10's of the year and I've only played 4 I lament my lack of variety.
