Not to mention prejudices, anime may be drawn in a specific way, mostly, but therey are drawing in different ways never the less, also I would really like to know what kind of drawing type is better?

The only anime I could stand to watch is Cowboy Bebop. Actually, that's probably one of my favorite shows, ever. It's just... genius. I saw Appleseed, wasn't bad, didn't follow the story much tho.

I have only ever seen Pokemon. And a bit of Neon Genesis or somewhat. And if Digimon counts... *shrug*

Zeta Gundam (by and large i'd fully accept the bad animation accusation, but it was 1985 and the design work is pretty cool anyway. It's a decent sci-fi war-story and the character designs are so good that they'll end up on SA's Fashion SWAT one day. hmm... come on, it was 1985!)

Escaflowne (Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Romance blend that could have been absolutely terrible, but is actually damned good. Great pacing and memorable characters.)

'Turn-A' Gundam (The first Gundam series to be without a mission statement of selling as many plastic toys to scary otaku in about 15 years. Surprising how the addition of a moustache to a robot can scare so many people off...)

Paranoia Agent (Love Satoshi Kon's films, and this is another good psychological thriller from him. Went a bit too far for the BBFC apparently: they're cutting some of the suicide-website episode because its a bit light hearted about it all. Added novelty value for seeing British fans get their knickers in a twist over losing 80 seconds of footage from their release )

This just prooves my point. Why the hell do they all have to draw like that. Yes I admit there are some little variations but still. The weirdest thing has to be that I can't seem to remember any character that looks asian, they all look the same.

I would really like to know what kind of drawing type is better?

Well gee I don't know, maybe realistic drawing style, duh...

P.S. I like Dexter, but the drawing sucks there too, just to show that I'm not making discriminations

Note that apart from the face, anime is pretty much about making it seem as close to realistic drawing style as possible. And yes there are lots of series where they tend to exaggerate on the face part, but there are still lots of anime where they make it look real, take Jojo's Bizarre Adventures for example (was originally a manga, but there is anime versions too).

You do have a point about them not looking asian however, but some do try to make them look asian though. And the reason why they draw it the way they do in anime is because many people think it looks cute. You may disagree and I respect that, but don't claim that all anime series are the same.

Why can't people out there just accept it? Anime is just like any other movie, just that it is drawn in japan's special way. The faces may be looking differently and characters may sometimes have wierd personalitys, but there are variations of genres in anime just like in any other movie. Claiming that all anime is crap, is like saying that all movies made in USA is crap. (Not entirely untrue though...)
