Your version of [de_train] differs from the servers.

I've been getting this error whenever I attempt to connect to a server on de_train, or when the map changes to train. I've downloaded the recent update, and everything else has worked fine for the past couple days. Train is the only issue I've had. I did a search and couldn't find anything - has anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve it? Thank you.

Try clicking that link. It will check your CS:Source files against the ones on Valve's master server. It will find where de_train is going wrong and repair it

I had the same problem. It happened because I downloaded a user made version of train before the update. All I did was go into my cs:s folder, go to maps, and delete the train.bsp file. After that, everything worked no problem. It didn't affect my official train map at all.

Thank you for the quick reply. I went to the link and it checked through all the files; nothing happened after it hit 100%, so I tried to play a de_train game. Upon selecting a server, Steam did a minute or so long download before allowing me to play - looked like good news to me. But once the screen goes black and the loading bar pops up, it gives me the same error message again. Should I just delete the actual map file and somehow redownload it? Thanks.

[edit] I deleted the train.bsp file in the cstrike directory, and now it works fine. Thanks guys!
