YouTube and Google Video, how do they do it?

No one wondered how? I mean, people watch millions of videos on there every day, with probably many TB's of traffic. Who's paying for it? There doesn't seem to be much advertising on there, that couldn't ever pay for it right? And while Google Video has a big rich corporation behind it, what about YouTube?

Perhaps a silly question, but I have no idea

Youtube has monthly bandwidth fees in the millions and is able to pay them due to advertising and funding though their business model seems shaky and they may go under.

Google has a lot of money and it has adverts and sells videos.
