Today I got an e-mail.
A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video. The audio content identified in your video is Just Stop by Disturbed. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback due to a music rights issue.
I thought maybe whoever is their publisher decided to sweep the tubes for their stuff and block it, but there still are working videos with their music (and that particular song) that probably have more views than my video had anyway.
WTF. How does that work? Is this some random action? Does The YouTube Content Identification Team randomly pick videos to check for copyright infringement?
