ZeniMax buys Arkane studios

Well, at least it's not garbage like id software. Arkane's gaming history was rich. You might know them from their cancelled online game powered by Source Engine, The Crossing. Their latest game Bioshock 2 didn't do very good.

That game was fantastic!

I'm really sad ZeniMax got their claws into them now.

Also shame about The Crossing, it was one of those few FPSes you hear about that sounded truly innovative and original.

Agreed, Arx Fatalis was a fantastic game (got my copy from a video game magazine for free). Valve might complete The Crossing one day, they have the code, and everything they need in their hands.

Oh? Great, here's to hoping, because The Crossing did sound very fascinating, especially the whole intermingling of multiplayer and singleplayer.
