The upcoming title Zeno Clash by ACE team is scheduled to be released on 21st of April, however if you pre-purchase now you will be able to purchase the title for a 50% discount which lasts till Friday, March 20th at 8 pm GMT. Steam Store.[br]For those who aren't familiar with Zeno Clash, it is ACE Team's debut title combining action/fighting set in a punk fantasy world. The game blends first person action with up close and brutal combat made popular in third person console classics. The game uses the Source Engine. That's really awesome, but the fact that they are making it so ridiculously cheap makes me even more weary of the game than I was before.

Unfortunately its not enough to tempt me into getting the game. I need to see reviews and what not before putting some money down on it. The game looks good and interesting but that doesn't mean it is going to actually be good.

I might get it port-release though.

I understand people's scepticism, it's a bizarre strategy but there must be a reason behind it. I'm sure the game will be fun, but you could argue with tighter purse strings ACE think people might let it disappear without a major fuss. They could also be in need of an early cash injection to support press and media releases prior to release, and pre-orders could bridge that gap. Who knows!?

Its a concern that they might know something and want to get cash before people see the final game, but what I have seen says to me its worth the chance, especially at half price, so purchased.
