ACE Team's highly acclaimed ZenoClash will continue to live on past release with free downloadable content. The first of which is a model pack for Garry?s Mod, including 70 models from the game for fans to play around with and create ZenoClash inspired machinima.

Damn... What I mean: VALVe always updated their games, but now, and update that includes 1 new material is called DLC?

This DLC concept, it sounds like an optional content that you might get if you want, but for instance, the "Survival Pack" for L4D was nothing but a predicted update that would pop sooner or later... Mayeb for the X360 is a DLC because you are not required to download it... But now, just the integration of Zeno Clash in Garry's Mod, also something totally predictable, a DLC?

GTA Lost and Damned is a damn DLC, THAT's DLC. Not just some update... Please, lets be reasonable. Sooner or later developers are gonna charge for every update they make, it's a DLC right? So they can do it...

I kind of agree with Maximus. DLC, makes it sound like it's optional and you have to pay for it. If it's something you have to download, because you can't play the game if you don't download it, well then that sounds more like an "update" or patch to me.

DLC is just the new marketing buzz word, you have to use it if you want the larger customer base to know what the hell you are talking about, before it existed you would never have seen TV commercials for a GTA content patch, its just for advertising purposes.
