no he's jumped the shark not because of this review (I havent seen it) ..smarmy british guy routine is only occasionally funny ..he's a very competant reviewer ..his gimmercry is uneeded but admittedly entertaining at least in the short term

He mostly complained about all the gankers and how the game was so unrefined and still being worked on.... also the bewbs.
 
No, this and his last were returns to form for him. I agree that he lost the edge for a little while there, but he has recovered beautifully.
 
****in gankers will never allow my kills to surpass my deaths ..got shot full of arrows by a lvl 67 ranger last night (I'm lvl 44) while I was turning in a quest ..as I respawned so did a few others of my level. went back to the scene just in time to see 4-5 lvl 40's chasing the ganker through the noble district in tarantia ..he'd die, come back only to be chased again and killed till he fianlly either dropped out or joined another instance ..love pvp justice
 
And that's what you wind up sounding like if you play a mumorpugurs. Just say no.
 
Played Age of Conan for the first month, sold my account and haven't wanted to play it since. I agree that it's an unrefined niche game. I love how everyone was holding it up vs "korean grind fests" as a game that will be devoid of endless grinding. Funny, I think I spent more time just grinding mobs to level than any other similar game I've played because I ran out of quests so many god damn times.

really? I thought barb's were really good at pvp...

on my bear shaman (73 I think) I'm something like 130 kills and 95 deaths or so

I got a few bad deaths from a huge pvp battle in khesh with a ton of lvl 80's:

i'm usually do pretty well but not against players 10+ lvls higher than I am. I havent played any of the pvp mini games yet. Wish that screen was larger so I could tell what's going on ..but it looks like somone is being bumrushed on the left
 
What the shit it's not working. I click play and and it says 00:00/00:00 and it won't play. Ok I just had to click it like 500 times and it played!

Gankers are pretty damn annoying in this game. I'm 77 right now, trying to get those last 3 pesky levels, but ALL high level players are condensed into 2 dungeons and one grind spot all based in the same zone.

I was in a DM grind group in Keshetta the other day. We were rolling any incoming group that tried to kill us and take the camp...until Ebonlore came along.

2 Ebonlore 80s came at us, we kill them...pause for like 5 seconds...then BAM! Our entire group dies instantly and 40-50 lvl 80 Ebonlore douches pop up out of hiding. They then proceeded to zerg the entire zone like losers.
 
You rolled on the same server as Ebonlore?

Why?
 
A clan/guild that is infamous for having hugely cheated and exploited in every MMO they've played, which is most of them.
 
Yeah, they're basically the scourge of my AoC server. I was in a group today where Ebonlore came and killed us in our dungeon because one of the members of my group had posted a youtube video about Ebonlore getting "bitchslapped" or something.

They got hacked today, some guy still anonymous got a hold of axem's account, destroyed their BK (Apollo got it), destroyed their pve city, emptied the guild bank, and disbanded the guild.

Don't post about it on the aoc boards or you'll get banned. Some guy from another guild saved the pics:

I quit after PoM's got the nasty PvP nerf. They friggin' gimped them.
