Zombie Master mafia?

What’s the deal with this modification? I noticed when I was reading the post about ‘Incoming Source’ that most of the derogatory remarks were made by members of this project, and disturbingly, most of them were moderators. I read seven pages of people associated with ‘Zombie Masters’ make post after post after post savagely attacking a free modification because of apparent borrowing from ‘Halo’. Even more ridiculous was one particular member’s justification of repeatedly insulting the mod in the same thread: trademark infringement. Say what?

Anyway, I really don’t know anything about Zombie Masters; I don’t know if I’ve even seen any art on it, and if it was, it was lackluster building models, but that might have been something else. I’m here just filing a complaint about the abusive behavior this mod has exhibited, and pointing out their actions might or might not have been allowed to spiral out of control due to their close affiliation with Halflife2.net.

Listen, CrazyHarij's opinion was indeed harsh and maybe he overreacted a bit, but I'm like that too when I encounter a racist on these forums. Maybe he just hates unoriginality?
But one thing is a fact : His opinions do not reflect those of Halflife2.net.

your point is nullfied. Yes, maybe he is a friend of several members of the team, but that doesn't makes him automatically a ZM team member I'm afraid.

Besides, if it wasn't for CrazyHarij your mod would pass the world of idiotic praise without getting a dent. I'm not expressing an opinion here, i'm just saying criticism is GOOD.

the leader of ZM has expressed that he wants to form no enemies with other mods, actually he wants to make lots of friends. Unless you hear it from the leader, i'm sorry but it's a PERSONNAL opinion, yes maybe we back up for friends (peer pressure) but the ZM team is a friendly one and you have no right to lash out at it.


BTW, i'm just a beta tester, a lousy one, but everyone in the team is very close and has regular mansechs together so i decided to post here.

Zombie Master aren't out to squash mods. I, personally, tend to try to steer people away from IP infringement (because it saves on the tears), and I don't like it when people infringe, but that's me personally, and that's because I'm a lawyer. Its nothing to do with ZM.

'Lackluster building models' is industry jargon for 'models built in 3D Studio Max or other rendering programs that are not excellent'.

You are completely correct sir. We at Zombie Master schedule Wednesday evenings for mercilessly bashing every mod that looks like Halo. Sadly it's restricted to Wednesdays, because the schedule for the rest of the week is filled with the likes of kitten stomping, baby eating and producing weapons of mass destruction. Sundays are especially busy, because that's when we have our... associations with 'Zombie Masters'.

Luckily, we still find an occasional free our in which we produce some rather lackluster building models. We're happy you recognized our extensive talents in that area.

By the way, we will soon complete our slow takeover of halflife2.net, and close it down for infringing on trademarks due to its mainly blue design, as it obviously violates B.B. King's trademark on blues. The same B.B. King, incidentally, who once aptly referred to this trademark with the phrase "I've got the blues".

All this Zombie Master vs Incoming Source vs moderators vs members shit will stop now. Any more of these threads will likely end up in a break away from these forums.

If you have any concerns about a modification then please privately contact a member of that particular mod. This is starting to get out of hand.
