How did you discover HL2.net

How did you find this website in which we make our homes? I myself discovered it through wikipedia - I was looking up Xen adn it linked to that article where Laidlaw said about the Combine not controlling Xen. I lurked for about a year before abandoning HLFallout and coming here.

Bet I googled HL2 though.
 
prolly from planethalflife, but that was a long time ago.
 
from halflife.nu but i didnt register till a year later cuz i hated the lay out for some unknown reason :/
 
I was kidnapped and woke up in here with no pants and a gerbil.
 
I typed Halflife2.net in the address bar on a whim after reading an article about the source code leak, found this site (though there were only forums, no front page) and registered.
 
I wandered across it out of curiosity when Fragmaster referenced HL2.net in regards to calling him a Nazi during the whole delay fiasco.
 
googled "midget sodomy porn" and this is what came up






for awhile i hadn't even noticed i wasn't on a real porn site, what with all the crazy shit that goes on around here.
 
The HL2.net art contest. Sulkdodds told me I should enter in a science class one day.

Well I played through Half-Life 2 a few times for around a year, then got EP1. After playing though that, I was incredibly hyped about the Half-Life series and the next episode, so searched 'Half-Life 2' and there ya go.
 
Came across the HL2 announcement and first screens and immediately started searching around for more info.

So yeah, google half life 2 :)
 
I think I actually just typed in halflife2.com? Nope...no good.

halflife2.net? Hmm, a forum? Fun!
 
Googled 'half-life 2 news' and constantly visited the front page, then moved to the forums and lurked, eventually signed up :D :O :D
 
I don't remember exactly, but I think I googled "Half-Life 2".
 
I was part of a CS community which made the Realism pack for the game. When the videos for HL2 were released, traptown specifically they were linked on those forums. I found myself downloading all the E3 videos and being glued here. The rest is history...
 
Swedish forum named PC Gamer.

They had a HL2 thread there which referred to the "Info received from valve ONLY - NO questions/discussion" thread.

I just found it.

Then all of a sudden, I'm the most popular member here.
 
When I first heard of HL2, I was sent here by Google, then I like, you know, made an account to flame some people.
 
I googled fap and this came up so I decided to join. I was a bit disappointed at first. :(
 
Looking for Halflife stuff I guess.

Plus I was attracted by the sexual radiation of CyberPitz.
 
I don't recall. Probably googled half-life 2 or linked from another site. About the time of E3 2003. Signed up later.
 
I'm not really sure. But I know I joined HL2.net because I got banned from HL2Central.
