... so, ent_create_portal_weighted_box does this: -

But how the hell do I spawn my lovely companion cube? :(

I assume it's a variation of the original weighted box command to get another skin, but i can't find it.
 
well first of all, it's "ent_create_portal_weight_box" not "ent_create_portal_weighted_box"

also, "ent_create_portal_metal_sphere" will create an eye such as the one that's used in the advanced map for testchamber 17.
 
Yeah, you're right ... but anyway... the companion cube?
 
The companion cube is just a reskinned weighted cube most likely. I doubt it's a separate entity/model. Which means you won't be able to spawn it through the console.
 
Correct the companion cube is merely another skin and uses the same model as the normal box.

skin0 = storage cube
skin1 = companion cube
 
Which all means we can't bring it back by console god power. It's dead, we just have to face it...

Bigger List:
Use sv_cheats 1 before using as they may not work without this activated.

fire_rocket_projectile = Fire Rocket

notarget = sentry guns/rocket turrets will not fire at you even if you stand directly in front of them

noclip = enables you to fly/go outside the level/walk through walls

fire_energy_ball = fires energy ball

sv_portal_placement_never_fail 1 = You can now shoot a portal almost anywhere

god = invicibility

upgrade_portalgun = upgrade from just blue to blue/orange

ent_create_portal_weight_box = weight box

ent_create_portal_weight_box THEN ent_fire !picker skin 1 = COMPANION CUBE!!!! w00t!!

you can also bind some of these codes by typing 'bind [key] [command]'
e.g.: bind r ent_create_portal_weight_box

now you can create hundreds of cubes just by tapping the 'r' key continously!!

ALSO, if you can't be bothered to traverse the 'guts' of aperture labs,

map escape_02 will bring you the nearest to GLaDOS but first you must defeat the sentry guns.
 
I think your version is bugging, it's missing all the lightmaps and even the brightness seems to be unjustly jammed to 100%...
 
yes its a custom map and it looks strange if it isnt in this setting

he either has full bright on or he never added a light entity
 
yes I have mat_fullbright 1 on or I can't see anything because the level is REALLY bringht 1 second and dark the next.

I was also nabbing at the fact that most people throw the brightness all the way to 100% and basically ruin most of the "dark corners and bright spots" graphical work done by level designers and artists.

and i use the 'dark corners' in the proper game. i will post a screenshot of the level w/out thewse settings on. As previously said, it's a custom map.
