come on absinthe i wasnt born yesterday ..it was a direct retort to all the times I've said "only in america" ..really it didnt bug me ..well besides the fact that it was in a thread about a tragic event that didnt have to happen

What a ****ing stupid way to handle the situation.

The guy looked ****ing frightened, had they bothered to get a map get him to point to where he was from then get a translator instead of ****ing tasering him he'd be alive.

in an interview with a member of the polish community the person said the distressed polish man says something to the effect of "I'm going to sue you all" ..she also commented that when he saw the police he said "police" and sounded relieved .. he thought the police were there to straighten out what he thought was an injustice ..instead without hestitation and without knowing the situation they tazered him to death

You'd think they would have at least tried something else before whipping the taser out and murdering him, like, I don't know, finding a translator or not encircling him like a pack of hyenas around a wounded animal.

After reading comments and finally grasping the situation, I feel it my need to comment on how appalled I am. Not because I think it will affect anything, but because the guy deserves the respect of at least one person standing up for him.
