As far as solos go I've never actually made a planned solo, always improvised.. I just can't seem to sit down and write a solo, they are always so much better when I just play, so I won't really be able to make a solo unless I get the song first to sort of get the feeling of the song.. (but again, you said solos aren't so important, doesn't matter much to me).
I don't know how you feel about prog metal, but I think making an acoustic intro and acoustic backing to electric guitar might sound pretty cool, your call - you talk, I listen.
I want to tell you now I have no experience in band stuff (well a little jamming experience with a drummer and a bass player, but we just kind of played YYZ), so if somethings off beat or doesn't sound right just tell me and I'll try to refine it more.
For now hook me that tune you got going, I'll see what I can do with it.

No no it was quite nice, just I'm not sure if it's House per se. There's quite a specific vibe to a house track.
