I think his mobo is the ASUS A8V (K8T800 Pro chipset) similar to mine. He has pretty much the same specs as me with the exception of motherboard, OCZ ram, and his FX-53 processor.

Uhh, no. If you read the HardOCP article, you will realize that you are wrong. Even Carmack says otherwise. You should also read the reply from Team Radeon about the drivers. The 6800 is made for Doom3, it has SmartShader and other lighting aspects that were designed for Doom3's spectacular...

How would you see it in october reviews?? Who knows that it wont be earlier, and that we wont get the magazine like a week after it goes gold? It's possible, many people had the PC Gamer with the review of Doom3 like a week and a half after it went gold...

Hi, i just threw together a new computer, and in the BIOS i noticed that one of the settings was called "AGP Aparture Size." The Aparture size is set to 64MB. I am currently running a Radeon 9700 Pro which has 128MB Video Ram... should i set the Aparture Size to 128MB, or leave it at 64MB? Thanks.
