It really wouldn't be that early since it would be Monday afternoon when the game arrives. Anyways, VU has been changing this date every week so far.

Was that because retailers sold Doom 3 early, or because they get all games early and there's always some employee out there that can be bribed into selling one or two copies early...

I looked but I couldn't find them before I posted. I just don't know what the difference is between the 15th and 16th. I thought they would ship the 15th. You would think that the VU games store would know when it's going to be released...

Could be. Battlefield 2 is supposed to have an engine that will make Source look like SNES.
