That thing about Gabe being in talks with the US secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld about lending HL2 technology is crazy.
Keep that crazy bastard away. With all the creepy Orwellian occupation stuff in HL2 that valve has us resist against, it'd be a shame to give HL 2 technology to the...
@ Shuzer & AJM2k3:
ya maybe you guys are right
or maybe an 'E'
The smudge above it makes it a little hard, but there are some T's on there that sort of wobble.

The columnated dates on the whiteboards are intervals of weeks. Leading through May and June from what I can see...
Not Half-life 2 news, but it is steam-related, and many of you may have this problem. Deleting this saved 300+mb for me since I wouldn't use the multilingual features of halflife 1. :D

"Half-Life Localized" was a cache file we used at one point that contained all of the...
Hey
I e-mailed of Valve the other day to ask about there being a couple of large .gcf files in the SteamApps folder. There was half-life.gcf and half-life localized.gcf
Both files were more than 300mb in size, so I asked if either could be deleted. Valve replied:
"Half-Life Localized" was...
Didn't that interview come from a Belgium magazine?
Is it possible that the interviewer/editor or translater/poster had the term mixed up?
Half-Life 2 should be in the late beta stages, if not release candidates if it's that big a game and is aimed at summer release.
I don't usually buy PC Gamer, but I think I may just to get some of that preview goodness.
@Shuzer: By the way, is that your post to Amazon about the biozeminades?
If so, what's with the line, ".. a few new enemies named 'biozeminades' which can make themselves look good..."
I think...
Valve will most likely announce the game's release date at E3. They sort of did that last time, but if the game is level-complete, they ought to have an accurate date.
Coruptor, I've only started to notice you on this forum in the last few days, but as soon as I saw this thread with your name as the topic starter, I somehow knew there'd be at least a couple of opinion arguments.
Not that I'm saying you're wrong on whatever topic, just consider the...
Poor Barney the guard,
Look forward to beer, all day.
Some day you'll be free.
He haunted me then,
The G-man, such deception!
I will kill him soon!
City 17.
Now what will the future hold?
Will it ever end?
Dear Combine soldiers,
Each in the same uniform.
Just be yourself man...
hmm :|
I really hope they don't delay it.
Why don't they just ask the HL2 community to help with the game?
hmm, they built a game engine.. they have good character models.. they have some mappers.. just finish the game?
I just don't understand, I'm not saying anything against Valve...
lol, here's something funny that rkadair said on the Bluesnews.com comments forum about the TF2 statement:
"I wish I was on TF2 payroll I would have a job for life and would not have to do a thing !!"
From Bluesnews.com:
Here's the word from Valve's Doug Lombardi: "Some time after we announced Team Fortress 2, which was then being created on the HL1 tech, the decision was made to move the project to the Source Engine, the same engine used for HL2. The project is still in development here at...
