Why does the flashlight not seem to work after a full compile? When you press the button nothing happens on either of my computers.

I would like to improve the performance in game as much as possible. I was curious what type of things would help the most? Are there any tricks that make a big diffrence? I do not want to delete any brushes and I dont want to delete many trees and statues.... unless they really slow things...
On my rocks, on my newer DX9 computers they flash black and and lighter when you walk around.
On DX7 (hardware, DX9 software) or whatever the older computer is, I am having more problems. Each rock is a diffrent color of the rainbow! Lol.

I fixed the skybox thing already. What else could be causing it to VIS slow. Almost everythingis green (a detail brush). There are no leaks. Why would there be 5000+ portals if everything is green almost? I left the walls blue.
