Could be the memory read bug, but really I'm not sure.

This is definitely -not- a heat issue in my machine. If it was it wouldn't happen at the exact same spot, every time. Plus I know my machine runs very cold.

That is just an acknowldgement of the problems with steam authentication :(

God I hope it's a fix for my memory read crash.

Is anyone at home and able to try this? I didn't look here at first because he was getting no error message, but I don't believe SP1 gives the message. http://halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=51721&page=1&pp=15 Seems he fixed his problem.. I just am not able to test it until I go home...

Hmmm if you are running SP1 this may be the memory read error as well. It doesn't give you an error, just crashes to desktop. I will try this when I get home.

Mine crashes at the exact same time, every time. I don't want to say when exactly because I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it's only about 15 minutes into the game.
