ALEXDJ,
I'm from Idaho where a person can get an AR-15, AK-47clone, handgun, shotgun, whatever from looking in the calissifed section of the News Paper, go to the person's house and buy it from them with no paperwork -just as it should be at gun-stores, but unfortunatly they have to go...
This report demonstrates I think that Australia still has quite a serious guncrime problem, despite the laws.
Sounds like the laws are the problem.
Gun-Control's sole function is getting guns out of the law-abiding's hands, while the street-thug gets them anyway. "Access to weapons" isn't...
But the point is - that if you think a bunch of civilians with guns, even really good guns, is going to make one bit of difference to well armed and trained troops think again. One M1A2 Abrams tank coming down the road would wipe out most civilians pretty quickly. How about an Apache Helicopter...
please, the US would steam roll right over any militia group bent on overthrowing the government.
That would depend on the tactics now wouldn't it? If there was an uprising, it isn't going to be muzzle to muzzle fighting in the streats. Like our forefathers, people would strike from the...
It still won't play offline.
I don't play online; I use CS:S for LAN play...but I can't play at LANs if it won't FREAKING LET ME PLAY OFFLINE.
No game is worth this.

Now, Half-Life2 Deathmatch will not stay maximized on screen once the map has loaded. It will minimize to the Windows System Tray, and every attempt to restore it to screen is met with another immediate minimization once the map comes on screen again.

Gun-Conttol is, has been, and will always be the tool of tyrants for the purpose of control.

I can't even get my games to appear anywhere once I host them.
Not on the SteamingPile server list, or accessed through firect IP, or gametiger, ect..
And yes, I have my firewall off.

Hamer4.0 won't work with the Counter-Strike selected as the game being worked for either.
It's defenently not some hardware problem. It sounds like a typical game/steam/update glitch.

I don't understand how anyone could be raped so badly by a software company, and then give them any more of their money.
Valve has seen their last penny from me. SteamingPileof.... has nothing but harassment so bad that if one didn't know any better, they'd swear Valve hates gamers, and my...
Imagine that. What a suprise.
Anyhow, I have connected and updated CS:S, played CS:S online, and it still refuses to operate in offline mode.
Any ideas?

Has it always done this? What was the last thing on youy machine you remember changing?
Could it be the result of overclocking?(I don't know much about that)

Hey buddy, The 2nd Amendment ain't about duck hunting!
It isn't about duck hunting anymore than the 1st Amendment is about playing Scrable. We have arms for the sake having the ability to use force to defend our rights...particularly against a Gov't who trieds to take them away.
Criminy...
