hummm, well i run hl2 at 16x AF and notice little diff, but the x800 PRO is cpu bound to might as well boost up the settings. cant be worse

TUT DARN CHEATS. please complete game first. whats the point in buying the game if you dont want to complete it. i completed the game in 2 days and druled over every second of it. cheats get boring. mabye i'me just talking like this because i spent 500 pounds upgrading because of this game

I just upgraded from 512 to 1gig and i noticed a massive improvent in loading time, i mean massive well 2x as fast. it was faster than expected. my hl2 specs also went up to all textures recommended high etc etc. depends largely on the game. but tbh (to be honest) i think if your at all...

antianalising (AA) - have you ever opened microsoft paint and drawn a straight line? at a normal glance it looks straight and normal, zoom in, say, 200% and the straight line now looks like a staircase all jagged. What anti anlising tends to do is fill in these gaps so the staicase appears...
