Quite looking forward to it; I'm also one of the few people here that enjoyed Far Cry 2.
I do hope, however, that the icons above enemies' heads and seeing their silhouettes through obstacles is something limited to the lower difficulty settings.
Can't you get those 50 euro games cheaper in retail in Romania, though? They usually are cheaper here - for example I bought Dishonored for the equivalent of ~30 euro in a store.
...what? I already heard someone else praising Borderland 2's story here, but I don't get what's so great about it. To me it's just some plot used to keep the quests together (and you can just jump in an out of it at different points, if you're playing co-op, which breaks the little immersion...
I wonder how that's calculated. I also didn't do a non-lethal playthrough - I basically tried to only kill those guys that I thought deserved it, so I spared the regular guards that didn't know any better (unless I heard in a conversation that they were assholes) and murdered the shit out of...
Hmm, the game could be a bit more wired towards playing without objective markers at times. Most of the time it's fine but for example in the 3rd mission:
I spent a good deal of time there as well, trying out stuff, I'm about to start the 2nd.
I'm enjoying the game so far, really liking the art style - in the media I saw before the release, the game did seem like it had purposefully undetailed graphics which looked washed-out and generally...
Well, he did say 'just enough for a good night's sleep' or something to that effect, so it's probably the equivalent of giving her a sleeping pill, ie. nothing really harmful.
Yeah, exploiting the game like this kind of kills the purpose for me, but whatever floats your boat.
Anyway, does anyone find the game a bit too easy? I remember in the first one it really mattered which level the enemy was and you had to really work for it sometimes. I'm playing Zer0 in this...
Hmm, I might get this. Enjoyed the first one, though I mostly played SP. MP was a bit... hectic; I mean everyone was just pushing forward to the next loot box and it felt very 'gamey' because of that, taking some immersion away.
Also for some reason this looks graphically worse than the first...
Yeah, I don't use them either, but I've got mouse pads with them at work and while I move them out of the way of my wrist, I see other people use them. The argument is that otherwise your wrist may get injured in the long run. Well, I've used a mouse on a regular basis since '95 (I think) and my...
Hey, hey, if you followed the bird's (whatever it's name was) skill tree it became quite powerful and when maxed out it pretty much cleared the area for you, dealing significant damage to up to 7 targets (IIRC). It almost wasn't fun to use it at that point, because it was overpowered.
Generally people seem disciplined in terms of spoilering their shit here. I came into this thread before watching the latest episode, to see posts such as
and
and
to get myself pumped for the episode.
