In my case, I guess I'm old school like that - I like gameplay where you have freedom of movement, with cutscenes in between which string the story together. I don't like the in-betweens. I don't like sections on rails (player in the gunner seat), overly scripted sequences and QTE's. I don't...
I'd say "press ALT+F4", but then again I'm not sure when the game saves.
Today I replayed the first chapter and even though I started the second (got to a playable part), after I quit the game and restarted it a while later, I was taken back to the last part of chapter one. Not only that, but...
Since I did one playthrough, the unskippable cutscenes didn't bother me (bar this one moment when I had to watch one 3 times, cause the game crashed twice in the same spot) - probably will in playthrough 2. As for weapon switching - I found this annoying as well, but you make it sound as if you...
IMO the game looks better and more "clear" in motion - I also thought the screens looked really busy and overly processed, whereas I had no such thoughts while playing the game.
I've played it for a few minutes and I didn't really like it. Granted I only played the TDM modes (I think you have to unlock the others :?). I didn't really dig into it and it's not immediately apparent how all this works (for example what's the point of looting bodies) - it's all probably in...
My game initially crashed right after the first screen ("Rockstar something blah blah"), but updating my GPU drivers fixed that. Then the game crashed twice in roughly the same place in one of the chapters in the middle of the game, but the third time worked :?
Yeah, ~30GB is crazy. I just bought a physical copy and installed from DVDs.
Enjoying it so far, I'm on chapter VI I think. I'm playing the game on Normal but I find it pretty challenging actually. There seem to be a few minor annoyances like Max switching to a 1 hand weapon each cut-scene and...
Well I certainly prefer the 'new' Lara to the old one, as a character.
But holy shit, the game looks over-the-top cinematic, did they hire Michael Bay to direct this? It looks like half the game will be quick-time-event-based.
Umm, I'll ask the obvious questions - why are there 8 fit, needlessly disguised as nuns and wearing sexy clothes underneath, women doing a frontal assault on a motel 47 is in? If this is fan service, I dread to think who the target consumer is now and how this will affect the game.
Also...
Yeah, I suppose washing machines nowadays are more "user-friendly". My quite old Bosch washing machine requires me to *gasp* push a button after I close the door to activate the cycle - it must be from that twilight zone. If only I had a washing machine that activated itself after I close the...
Well tbh, there was no purposeful endangerment. I wouldn't put a kid in a washing machine in the first place, but I wouldn't expect that after I close the door, it will lock and the cycle will start without the ability to cancel it in a straightforward manner, either.
I'm a dumbass. I should probably be quiet about this, but I find it amusing so I'll share. :p
I just realised that your inventory =/= your backpack. The realisation came when I found a better backpack and didn't see a difference in the number of available slots in my inventory. That's when I...
This! They should make it so that zombies couldn't spawn in something like a 250m radius of a player (even more would be better). I'd like to be able to temporarily clear a town of zombies and then explore it in peace.
But what's more important, I'd like to avoid situations like the one you...
I'm all for developers giving the player options like this and don't like how it's rare in games nowadays.
But why the heck are you comparing Deus Ex to Skyrim :?
Was there a new batch of keys released or something? I just got a message on Steam saying that I received an additional CS:GO key to give away, which surprised me, because I didn't get any prior info that I've been given beta access. I checked my library and there it was, ready to download, so...
