I made a huge mistake with my English coursework years ago. I was writing a story and watching a film at the same time. After a while I started paying more attention to the film than my work and I started to write down what was being said on screen. But I didn't keep up with it, so it was just a...
I'm looking forward to uni...ish. I don't regret taking a year out to just play hockey, I may be doing it again all next year (as my uni hasn't got back to me yet). You hear lots of people saying things like "you can't wait to leave now but in a few years you'll wish you were still at school"...
Someone linked me here the other day to a rebel being shot in the head (very disturbing) so I was a little dubious to watch after I realised he tricked us all.
I've learnt a lot from here, none thats really important mind you. Oh except that the end of the world is nigh, and that contracting the ebola virus is not good. But the little things like Garfield has woman trouble, no one likes text talk (not suprising) and No-live 2 is pure evil.
Never used "txt speak" and never will, if anyone sends me a text like that I'll tell them to send it again in english. Luckily though most of my friends use real words so it doesn't happen that often.
So was I :E
And I'm a terrible cook, the only thing I can handle is fried egg and bacon in the morning, oh and spaghetti only because it's really really easy.
What are you doing cooking fish at Uni?
What, just a can of beans and a spoon not good enough for you?
But thats what you get for going out of your depth, unless your doing some sort of cooking course, if so, oh dear.
I agree, I can't stand it. The only writing I do these days is on forums, so I use it keep my English skills intact. Unfortunatly my English skill suck anyway and I can't spell anything that isn't spelt as it's sounds, I honestly think I'm dyslexic (had to look that up in the dictionary) so...
I voted Telekinesis, but thats because I'm lazy and so I could bring anything to me without getting up. I'm sure I would use it for other things, but mainly to aid me in my laziness.
