i decided to try out halflife2 deathmatch today for the first time. my question is this...why is it impossible for me to play???? i can connect to any server, but in every single one it is too laggy to even comprehend what i am doing and i just die over and over again. knowing little about this...

it does work when i open an earlier save no idea why i didn't think to try this myself. thanks for the help

I installed Half Life 2 on this pc like three or four days ago. Ive been playing it fine with no problems so far and Im almost at the end of the game. For some reason, however, a few hours ago, it started crashing. I open the game, choose load game, and load my game. everything loads correctly...
