I wouldnt consider any of the games listed in the first post as potential sales damagers. especialy halo 2 wich isnt even for the PC ffs. (i realise it will be ported craply to the pc in 2005) Hl2 will break the world record for most sales of a PC game in its first week, its garuanteed...

uh dude, gold isnt a release date. gold = game is finished and is getting copied onto retail cd's after X amount of time its released to stores, Steam isnt getting it any earlier than the stores are.
