Yep you will since you will need to install the sata controller when installing windows, or it will bsod. Also having a floppy disc with some partitioning tools on it like fdisk often makes the process easier
my first job was washing dishes in a kitchen. was the worst job because the place served about 200 people for lunch each sunday (which was the only day i worked) and it was just me washing all the crap from these people. terrible job but worth it since it paid for the majority of my pc in my sig...
When I went to create my first hotmail account years ago, I tried duffers at hotmail dot com but it was already in use. Btw my last name is Duffield and alot of people call me duffers for a nickname. Well i tried duffers1, 2 etc until about 6 when i decided to go for 20 just to see if it was...
Aren't the hydravision drives for multimonitor functionality? You should check that you have the latest Radeon Drives for your mobility gfx chip. If my memory serves me correctly, they have an app that will check to see if the mobility radeon drivers are compatible with your gfx chip.
Cool!!! Should be good to have a read.
Yeh systems are pretty expensive, just worked out that its gonna cost be about £550 for a new mobo, psu and gfx card! Pretty damn expensive, but worth it.

I tend...
Em, not all of us overclock our hardware that much. The FX-57 used in teh test was cooled with dry ice and clocked at about 3.6ghz and the gfx card was also cooled witih dry ice with the memory running at almost 2ghz and the core at 900mhz. Now thats extreme overclocking and you can't really use...
I only use PC World for ink cartridgdes and stuff like that. Other than that, I don't go in there for pc stuff. The workers are the worst ever apart from the odd decent ones (or atleast thats what its like in aberdeen), they don't have a clue about stuff and also they try and get you to buy the...
