Limp, what about the settings of the area portals? like some rooms have doors windows and vents, even some rooms the walls can break opening up another room.. would there be an area portal for the breakable wall?

I am looking for a tut, or if one of you guys could post some tips.. on area portals.. I know how to do one with the door opening and closing, but my rooms are more advanced with breakable walls, vents windows.. i need an area portal tut for advanced situations.

I just did a run through, and you need to attach any custom texturing you did into the zip file.. you just have the bsp.
Also the rooms are kinda empty, but in reality this map was just to get you aquanted im sure.

Your map is shaping up very nicely, i like the ambience look of it.. By the way in your fourth screen shot, how did you get those mossy vines to hang off your roof? i cant only use the decal or overlay tool to use vines etc.. is yours a sprite? and if so how did you do it?

Almost every sofa ive found needs to be a prop_physics or prop_physic_multiplayer.. which have physical properties.. i have found a prop_static in the props/csoffice folder.. its under "sofa".. and that can be used and wont react to anything but light.
Really, under entities .. just use an ambient_generic, and you can alt-enter and customize the volume / sound type and alot of other stuff to do with it.
Also you can use a regular brush with the trigger texture on it.. and then cntrl-t and make it a "trigger_once" entity .. with that you...

How do you make an animated screen, i want to make a console screen, when you go close to it, it looks "animated" like a live footage, or a fuzzy screen.
