I wonder how useful this would be.
You have holes you can look through now all over the map screwing up vis.
Most of the holes are out of reach so you can't walk up and look through them. The ones that are within reach are at a height you can't look through at the player's ducking or...
I've never used AA so I won't miss it when I still don't have it.
I'll just crank the res to 1920x1440 and enjoy all the other benefits of my new card.
Lambda is to Black mesa as The Golden Gate bridge is to San Fransico.
You could call it the Black Mesa facility just like you could call it the San Fransico bridge.
But it is, "the Lambda facility located in Black Mesa, New Mexico, USA."
I am certain we will be going back to Black mesa.
Remember how Valve was saying you could convert old H1 maps to HL2 and that they had done it? I don't think they were able to resist going back to some familiar areas from Black Mesa.
I'll put $20 on that we will see the test chamber again.
Yeah but like I said, I suspect you'd get this...
and not this...
Do you have anything in your control panel under display that suggests otherwise? Anything in your docs?
Actually I thought the lighting was off and the texturing not that great (eg: roof of sunken boat, ground on shore, wood planks on dock)
Looking at the setting I would expect to see long shadows but thee are none to speak of.
