Is it possible to re-install Half-life 2 and not have to register it online again and download the unlocking stuff and also keep logged into steam? Just that i did all the unlocking and stuff at a friends house cos Steam is blocked where i live at uni, so i don't want to risk not being able to...

My god this is an amazing game, i only have one problem though. Instead of Half-Life 2 on startup it says Half-Life' and i don't seem to have weapon icons in game, just letters instead like C for crowbar. Are my fonts screwed?

well if it was memory it would probably be graphics memory rather than ram and i don't think memtest tests graphics memory does it?

come on, the guys right. we need to be methodical about this. have we isolated that its only a Steam problem, i.e those copies preloaded from steam? Have you guys tried the various fixes like re-downloading the cache etc Copying bin files?

why don't you spend s ome time figuring it out, savour the game man, don't just come on here as soon as you hit an obstacle. Thats half the fun.
