Well i got a similar problem on basically the same settings xcept 129MB graphics card with a 2.97GHz processor with HT enabled. Upgraded to 512MB Graphics card an the problem went.

Agree with druckles. you could easily chance GLaDOS to a male sounding voice. oh, and BTW you spelt GLaDOS wrong
