I?m starting half-life 2 episode 1. after 30 seconds it says
"half-life 2:hl2.exe - programfel 0x15e63e2c 0x0d2fa1a the memory could not be read" what is wrong.
i have a laptop
windows xp home 2002
intel pentium 4 3,4GHz 1,00GB RAM
ATI mobility radeon x600 400MHz 256MB

This happens very often to me and some other people. The simplest solution is to lower the texture quality, graphics resolution, or other graphical settings. There's a number of reasons it can happen, from bad memory or just not enough, but with 1 gig, you're either running too many background applications or you have bad memory (like me).

I've occasionally had that problem. Usually when I attempt to spawn that problem. I suggest getting more RAM. Only because I always suggest that .

Or lower your settings.

Well i got a similar problem on basically the same settings xcept 129MB graphics card with a 2.97GHz processor with HT enabled. Upgraded to 512MB Graphics card an the problem went.
