It should run alright.. if you want to see it in all it's glory I would suggest trading it in for a desktop with a DX9 card.. or getting one if you love your laptop, which I would if I owned one :) But seriously, wrong forum.

Things can happen.. a last second bug that delays even further, servers crash, they all decide to go out for pizza and end up getting drunk and forget where they placed the videos. Who knows for sure.. I will believe it when I see it, but won't be surprised if it's not released today.

hmm.. seems to me Gabe and Erik also said last week the videos would be released last week for sure... I don't trust them at all.. I will wait and see if it shows up, but not going to take their word anymore.

Mine isn't updating automatically either.. i had to log out and back in and then it updated... nothing new though..

Doom 3 will be a great shooter, Deus Ex :IW will have a great story... All will have great graphics but HL2 will have everything great, including Multiplayer and the mods.. neither Doom 3 and Deus Ex will have the staying power as will HL2. Look at HL1, it's still around after 5 years with it's...

I would just like to see gibs.. HL had them explode, I would like to see their arms and legs blown off... The videos showed the zombies get cut in half, but the combine soldiers only flew straight up once they were hit with a grenade. Would be cooler to see their leg get blown off and have...

You mean the videos aren't out yet? Shesh... what's the point of still talking about them .. they are old news.. by now everyone has seen them from FP or Gamespot and by the time they are released it will be only days til HL2 is, so why ruin the moment with simple video when the glory of all...

I always knew there would be a Half Life 2.. mostly because someone on the team mentioned something about things not making it in Half life due to time and hardware restrictions.. this alone is a sign they want to make a sequel.. I was pretty excited when they finally announced it's coming out...

It's not coming out today, or tomorrow.. Probably won't come out til Thursday at the earliest.. But, hey, I have been wrong before... like when I said this Steam idea was actually cool :)
