I have a question for you before you go reinstalling Stormy. What kind of graphics card do you have? From my experiences the ATI cards don't seem to like OpenGL mode in Max as much they do Direct3D and Software modes. You mentioned trying DirectX but did you try running it with the Software...

Actually you can get them all on 1 texture and still have them be seperate parts. 1) UV Map all the pieces 2) Attach all the pieces together (The UV coordinates will be kept) 3) apply another Unwrap modifier and layout your UV's 4) export your UV template however you choose and texture the...

Looks very clean Tempest. How did you setup the material for the paint? I can only see 1 little kink where the headlight and fender meet. How long did it take you to model it?

When did there become a law against box modeling something? The last few days people have been getting ripped because it wasn't done Ichi's way or doesn't meet the standards of the Ichi Fanclub. If there's something wrong with it tell him what it is and if you know anything about modeling...

It's basically a modeling and animation package, it might have a renderer also (I'm not sure because I haven't looked at it). Edit : I just looked at the page and it says it has a rendering package aswell.

A demo could be nice, something to do to tide us over, or even HL : Source.
