I figured I would start posting here and get involved with this online community. I mainly post at ign.com but when theres a game that I'm highly anticpating I really enjoy posting at forums dedicated to that game.
If you don't have any experience building your own computer you may want to have a computer savy friend help you out, if you know anyone. If not just have it built, it looks like kickass system.
I spent right around $400 for the mobo/cpu/ram in my sig. They're scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon by Fedex. I'm gonna hang on to my Ti4400 for a little longer though. I really can't afford a new video card right now but I should still be fine.
LOL! Actually man I'm not rich at all. I'm a single guy that works full time and lives on his own. It just so happens I got a DWI about a month ago so I got a loan from my bank to pay for it all. I borrowed a little more cash than I needed so I could upgrade.
Dude I'm sorry to tell ya but your "Intel Extreme Graphics" is gonna get its ass kicked by HL2. Never ever! buy a motherboard with onboard graphics if you plan on gaming.
I would have liked to get a black and silver one but best buy didn't have any like that when I bought it. It would have matched my monitor, case, and mouse perfectly.
Dude your chair kicks ass and don't let anyone tell you different. Check out my chair. I bought it for $20 bucks and it has a remote that raises you up and down. And I have two little gray office chairs on each side for my guests to sit in.
My specs are in my sig. As a matter of fact I just ordered the mobo/cpu/ram off newegg.com the other day, it should all be here by friday or monday. I'm not too concerned about running HL2 2 with decent resolution/details now. :cheese:
