hl2 is science fiction of the most fantastical degree. i'm not very skeptical of what nasa or a top university says as they are pretty damn credible when it comes to science...but there are limits to some of your comments. to think that in 50 years we'll get flying cars is preposterous. i'm...
they are asexual xenopods and are the dominant culture on xen, as are the human on earth. they are governed by xenophids who do reproduce via sex organs.
there is no distinction between defecating and reproducing to xenopods as their spores are expelled together with feces into large toilet...
are all your arguments this baseless? so out of 6+ billion humans inhabiting earth, there was not a single general or president to act as a leader? right...gordon freeman's a scientist, he's the best candidate for a military strategist. like it or not, denial aside, the storyline really makes...
the flashlight used to just freeze the game for 10 seconds, now it crashes it. why is it doing this? i see other guy's flashlight fine, mind you. but when i turn mine on, it works for like 1/10th of a second then freeze...crash...do you want to report error...no.
how do you put the head of the arctic terror model onto the body of breen? then reskin breen's clothing? do i really have to download a modelling programme for that?
in ww2 tracers were only from machineguns...i don't know what the heck is this crap coming out of the rifles and smgs...but they're probably there to add a "cool" factor which is pretty stupid to me.
why would it be set in china?
there's lush green trees elsewhere, doesn't mean it's china.
also why would gign from france go after china? it would make sense if it was devgru or something. but if it was gign then it's probably in france due to their non intervention government
a more...
most physics engine have that vibrating thing...i found it neat that you could shoot individual body parts as well...the hidden guy could also throw things around and use barrals as shields and explode people into tiny bits
but i hated one thing....character models have huge head and foot
damn right...the iron sights in dods look like a freaking plastic toy held up to the face....his eyes are focuses on the foreground and the back of the sight. that's an impossibility.
it's like having super laser weapons in a ww2 game...it's beyond physics and logic
the game sounds like crap
and i've never played dod original...was never a fan boy of it, nor a hater of steam....i enjoyed source engine very much too.
i'm sorry, but dods is pretty crappy by my standard
