Yeah i got this on DVD when it came out, purely based on great reviews it got...i thought it was really good, watched it with a mate who was pretty shook up by it, its a pretty disturbing film psychologically, particularly the bit where he gets those guys really drugged up...if you've seen it...
Yeah i meant using the hammer compile tools rather than an outside one, but you've tried that so ok...it locks up on VIS? Is your map pretty big? If you haven't optimised it properly then it is a common problem for it to seem like it's locking up when compiling the VIS, when it fact its just...
Jeez, anyone watching tonights episode will have seen lecturer 'Brick' giving away a lot of secrets, good thing the cadets didn't catch on (somehow)...worst one was when he said 2001 - A Space Oddessy was filmed in Hollywood, and the other lecturer said "No, it was filmed in England", and Brick...
3d max 7...got it working now by using 'Attach to link' and attaching to another link, seemed to work that way, must've been me...sorry, waste of thread lol
Ugh, i'm new to all this animation business and am following a tutorial to get to grips with it. I have got as far as making a model, assigned a biped to it, and now i am editing the links so that they move whichever vertices they are supposed to. One of the links (big green balloon thing)...

Well that's why they only took on board contestants who would see the funny side afterwards. That, and after it all they get a bundle of cash, it'd definitely help me get over it...
*Cough*Chav*Cough*
:)
As for the hardcore you were on about...nah not my cup of tea, my tolerance level goes up to KoRn and a couple of Slipknot songs but that's about it
If anyone likes this idea and wants to see it done properly i recommend you head over to Interlopers.net > Forum > Design Section and take part in one of the map battles. Nice try though...
