I've been enjoying Clockwork quite a bit recently. Provided you use your hookshot and cogs correctly, he is great for storming in and causing havok when the enemy isn't expecting it.

Hmm... Superbrothers made me feel pretty emotional towards the end. That game also has an amazing soundtrack. Story-wise I loved The Witcher, I don't know if that's really "emotionally destroying" though. Well worth trying regardless.
