So, for my very first viewing of the space shuttle launch, I figured this was the best time to do it! I just wanted to get some information from folks who've been there, done that. From what I've read/heard, there's no tickets to buy or official locations to go and view the launch close...

Sorry about not responding sooner, crazy week! We did have time to prepare....the sirens went off around 20 minutes earlier. Problem is, the sirens go off often....so it's like crying wolf. Some people just didn't take it to heart. Others don't have a basement or anything, so you can only do...
